SSC sold and installed a VELUX 4646 solar vented skylight to replace the same size triple domed skylight. The SSC team were great. Sent someone out to take measurements (less than 30 min) and provide a quote (in a day). The quote / contract includes manufactures warranty plus installation labor warranty. See website for details. As a certified VELUX installer, they diagnose and repair any issues for no charge under the product warranty. Install happened 3 weeks later and was completed in less than 2 hours – including removal of the existing skylight. The install team was super professional and safe. They removed some tiles on the roof to safely set their ladders and then properly patched the holes before reinstalling the tiles (a step easy to skip). Once installed, they worked with me to confirm perfect fit. Before they departed, they demonstrated the full function of the skylight (venting and shading) with provided remotes. It’s rained for the past three days and there is no problem. The rain detection function on the skylight really works as proven with real rain today. Highly recommended company and product based in my experience!
We had two skylights that were over 15 years old and had become inoperable. I contacted Skylight Service Center and Nikita was able to schedule an inspection for the same day.
Cody arrived on time with a text notification beforehand. After inspecting both skylights, he recommended replacing them with newer solar-powered models and clearly explained our options. Later that evening, he sent an all-in quotation, which we agreed to, and came by the next day to collect the deposit.
A few weeks later, Nikita called to schedule the installation. The crew actually arrived early, completed the job ahead of schedule, and was very neat, placing plastic sheeting under the work areas and cleaning up afterward.
The new solar-powered skylights work great, and the built-in sunshades are a nice upgrade. Top-notch service and follow-up from Cody, Nikita, and the installation team. I would definitely recommend Skylight Service Center.
We dealt with Cody at Skylight Services. The crew was quick, efficient, friendly and left everything spotless. My husband said they were hard workers. We are very happy with our new skylight. Many thanks for a job well done.
We just replaced our old skylights and added a whole new one in one of the bathrooms, for a total of 3. Velux brand. Cody and his team did a fantastic job. We are enjoying our vented-style, solar-energy-operated.
Cody and his team were efficient, professional, and experienced. It took two days to install a skylight that has brightened up what was once a dimly lit kitchen. I appreciate the work they put in and I’m a very satisfied customer.
