Cody and his team were amazing from start to finish. Upon calling, I immediately was contacted and a date was set to come out and inspect the job. I met with Cody, he examined my home’s skylights (3), assessed the one leaking skylight, and gave an honest evaluation of the three skylights. I actually had a contractor family member come over prior to contacting Skylight Service Center and Cody’s assessment of the situation matched what my family member/contractor determined – the skylights were old (20+ years), one was leaking, and the other two were showing extreme wear and tear. It would be unwise not to replace all of them soon. So…Cody ordered the skylights and within a week or two he and his team were at my home replacing and repairing. Unbeknownst to my husband and I, we had roof damage around one of the skylights. No worries, Cody and his team were well equipped to assess and repair before installing the new skylight(s). The team worked for two days thoughtfully, thoroughly and carefully, being mindful of our home, very clean and respectful of our property. Also, the actual skylights installed were Velux, top of the line, the gold standard. We are so happy to have found Skylight Service Center and Cody, a modern business with an old school mentality – service with integrity, honesty, and care.

I am so glad I used Skylight Service Center to replace our leaky/cracked dome skylight with a new and beautiful velux skylight!! I wanted to wait until after the rain to do this review.., and the new skylight held up so nicely during the recent storms. I feel so much more at peace; no leaks as should be! I challenged myself to find a quality skylight and installed by quality professionals. Cody and his team are definitely professionals who know their products. They replaced our skylight in one day (less than 8 hours). During initial inspection, Cody explained in details what would be done and assured me that my flat-ish roof area can indeed use a flat skylight as it must be angled anyway when installed. I chose this team because I did some research and wanted to use Velux, and it helped that this company specializes in these skylights. It was a straightforward process: inspect, order item if dimensions are uncommon, schedule installation date, completion! Lastly, they showed me photos of the finished product from the roof, and i could definitely see how very-rain-proof they made the surrounding roof material. Thank you guys!

I would highly recommend Skylight Service Center! They were great to work with, and it was really easy to communicate with them – via phone, email, and text. I left several messages for other companies but never heard back from some of them.
It was very easy to set up an appointment to get the estimate, and they were able to fit us in for our repairs the following week. Our estimate and repairs were both completed by Cody – who was very knowledgeable about the process.
Cody took the time to walk me through the problems he identified and provided me with easy-to-understand options. I really appreciate the great quality of work and the quick turnaround.

Last month I had to replace my old skylight, custom sized. Cody was good at communicating, always be responsive and professional. Since my skylight was custom sized, I had to wait a month since I signed a contract but the replacing job was done less than 3 hours. The people were very professional and cleaned up after the installation. I like my new skylight!

I’ve had skylights installed in the past and for townhome I had three that were over 30 years old and in need of replacement. I Knew I wanted to go with Velux brand and I researched the product as well as install methods thoroughly. The experience I had with Cody and his skilled install team was fantastic from the initial call back all the way though completion and followup. Communication was excellent. Work was done better than I expected. Two of the three were challenging due to wet and dry rot on a “flat roof” but Cody’s suggestions were great and he was true to his word based on the initial quote. I highly recommend Skylight Service Center, and if I were to do this again, I would do so in a second !

This company is not just good – they are FANTASTIC!
Cody and his team bring back craftsmanship that is a thing of the past. My home is older, so nothing is exactly straight or plumb. That has lead others to fill and cheat and end up with a high price paid for a less than stellar finished product. Cody’s team came in, corrected the issues created by past contractors and then Cody and team worked through solutions until hitting on absolute finished product perfection. Who does that extra work and provide that extra level of pride in workmanship in 2024?
Beyond that, Cody was always forthright and honest and he went to great lengths to make sure I understood the process and my choices. Cody and his team were always respectful and they were a welcome and pleasant group to have in my home. I could not possibly recommend them enough. 5 stars does not begin to cover it – they are more like 500 stars. Hire them without hesitation.

Cody and team installed skylights in my bedroom and replaced a kitchen skylight last summer and they were absolutely terrific. Fair, quality work, communicative, and fast! Everything you could really ask for. Would highly recommend and use again. The room has so much more light and the solar option is fantastic. Thank you!

Skylight Service Center installed our Skylight back in August. I realized I hadn’t left a review yet. California is currently experiencing large amounts of rain and the Skylight is doing its job wonderfully so far! It looks much better than our original Skylight and we also added the solar panel. I highly recommend adding the solar panel. It is great on extremely hot days, as we can block out the heat and light.
Cody and his team were great. Response time was quick. Installation was also done quickly. The installers were friendly and hard working.
Also, you receive a tax break for the solar panel being installed!
